Are you constantly anxious for no apparent reason? Maybe you are always worried about something bad happening to you or our loved ones. Maybe you are always anxious when you have to interact with people. And you know this Anxiety is irrational.
There are several types of Anxiety Disorders. If the situations described above apply to you, you may be suffering from one form of Anxiety Disorder.
In case you think that you are alone and is therefore quite embarrassed about the condition, you don’t have to feel so. It is said that out of every 10 people, 1 of them has this condition.
It is more common in women than men. Both adults and children can be inflicted with anxiety disorder.
Unfortunately, the society in general is not well educated about anxiety disorder. Therefore, people with anxiety disorder may be viewed as someone who is unstable and mentally weak.
This misinformation may discourage an individual to seek proper treatment. It is thus important to first remove the stigma and encourage people who have anxiety disorder to seek treatment.
If you suspect you are having anxiety disorder, do not allow this social stigma to hold you back from seeking treatment. Anxiety disorder can strike anyone without him/her knowing and is definitely not a sign of weakness of instability.
If you have friends or loved ones who is suffering from anxiety disorder, do try your best to encourage them to seek proper treatment. It is not advisable to ignore the condition as it may become worse and get out of control. Encourage yourself and your friends to Stop Anxiety attack as soon as possible.
