Where can I find resources on psychotherapy methods?
I am doing a linguistics essay on psychotherapy. I am attempting to analyze the linguistic framework used by the psychotherapist. I have asked this before and seem to get irritated feedback. I am looking for specific books, resources, and advice pertaining to counseling models.
I am most interested in the idea of reflective listening, (uncertain of the term), where the listener listens and then feeds back information with a purpose of building rapport with the speaker as well as counseling.
Might i suggest that you look into and studdy some NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
These techniques are far more superior than classic psych techniques. An NLP trained person, can cure anyone of almost anything within 1 or 2 sessions typically. where as psycho therapy can take years, and ends up creating more problems than were originally there. There is a free online certification course on NLP starting up, which you can take for free all online. It will be fully online hopefully by end of December 07, maybe Jan 08, please keep an eye on this, as you will learn many things.
